Why We're Not Renting Out Our Bikes
We’ve gotten lots of questions about whether we’ll be renting out our bikes during this time. We won’t be, but we wanted to share a little bit into why we’re not.
Most importantly, we are taking social distancing very seriously. We do not want to encourage any unnecessary interaction, and unfortunately, the process of renting out bikes (between the unavoidable close contact during drop off, renting a vehicle to deliver bikes, needing multiple people to be at a location to move the bike, etc.) just poses too much risk. We don’t want to put anyone’s health in danger and recognize that staying home alone is the best way to “flatten the curve,” save lives, and help reduce the length of time that this lasts.
Second, this isn’t easy for us either — we miss riding with you!! The energy, connection, all of it! But so much of what makes that experience so awesome simply can’t be replicated in our current situation. A big part of the magic that happens in that room comes from being together, feeling the energy of the space and with other riders, and everything else that comes with it.
We offered a few suggestions of our favorite at-home workouts, and while we know it's not the same, we hope that this time away will make our ultimate return to the studio that much better.
We can’t wait to ride with you — back in the studio, and when it’s safe to do so.
