WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A SPARKCYCLE CLASS?
A fun, sweaty workout that leaves you exhilarated and wanting more! Every class is designed around the beat of the music and incorporates energy from the whole room. If you’re new to SPARKCYCLE, don’t worry! The lights are dim, we have new riders in almost every class, and the focus is on fun. You can ride at your own pace, control your own resistance, and sit down to take a break at anytime.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE STUDIO?
For your first class at SPARKCYCLE, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the class start time. That will give you time to check in, borrow shoes, and get set up properly on your bike. After your first ride, plan to get to the studio about 10 minutes before the class start time.
We can’t let first time riders into class after it begins because the room is dark and it’s not safe. If you are a returning rider, you will not be able to enter the room 5 minutes after the class start time.
If you are running late (or will be there less than 5 minutes before the class start time), please give us a call as we give away unclaimed reserved bikes 5 minutes before the class start time to present waitlisted riders.
DO I NEED MY OWN CYCLING SHOES?
Shoe rentals are complimentary for all riders, so you’re welcome to borrow ours or bring your own! Cycling shoes will help you get the most out of your ride and are important for safety.
If you do bring your own, our pedals are compatible with both LOOK Delta and SPD clips.
IS THERE WATER AVAILABLE?
Yes! We have a filtered water bottle refill station at both studios and also sell smartwater.
WHAT KIND OF BIKES DO YOU HAVE?
We have fully customized Stages SC2 indoor cycles. Our pedals are compatible with LOOK Delta and SPD cycling clips.
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?
Yes! Both studios have multiple showers and fully equipped locker rooms with complimentary towels, hair dryers, and Malin + Goetz toiletries.

WHERE CAN I PUT MY THINGS DURING CLASS?
We have cubbies and lockers with at both studios. You can set your own locker combo each time you come so there’s no need to bring a lock. Our staff can show you how to use the lockers so if you’re unsure how, just ask!
We also have long-term lockers at the Liberty Station studio which are available to rent monthly. Please call or email the studio for more information.
CAN I HAVE MY CELL PHONE IN THE ROOM?

HOW DO I RESERVE A CLASS?
To make a reservation, you must first make an account (go to “sign up” and create a username and password). Then you can purchase a class or class package, find the class you want to book on our schedule and pick the exact bike you want!
HOW DO THE PRICING OPTIONS WORK?
We offer single rides or packages of 5, 10, or 20 rides. We also have a 30-day unlimited option, an auto-debit package that renews every 30 days, and annual unlimited.
CAN I USE MY PACKAGE AT EITHER LOCATION?
HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?
If a class is full and you sign up on the waitlist, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to ride. Up until 5 p.m. the evening before the class, waitlisted riders will be automatically added to a class when a spot opens up. If you’re on the waitlist and a bike opens up after 5 p.m. the evening before the class (including the day of the class), we’ll call you and book you on the bike once we get word you can still come.
If you are on the waitlist, show up early to class and let the front desk know you’re here to ride. We often have last minute cancellations and will do our best to get you on a bike. Unclaimed bikes are reassigned 5 minutes before the class start time in waitlist order (i.e., if you are first on the waitlist, your name will be called first for a bike).
If you do not get a bike, your class will go back on your account to use in the future.
DO YOUR CLASSES EXPIRE?
Yes. The expiration date is noted below the price on our purchasing page.
CAN I BOOK MULTIPLE BIKES IN ONE CLASS UNDER MY ACCOUNT?
No. For liability reasons, every rider must have his or her own account.
WHEN ARE CLASSES AVAILABLE TO BOOK ONLINE?
Our schedule goes live on Sundays at 5 p.m. for the upcoming week through the following Monday.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
